About Me

At Photography

Photography for me has been a gateway to explore new places, travel and go on adventures withlike minded people, so my aspiration coincide with this .

My goal is to work on projects that portray nature and the outdoors with a unique perspective. ultimately, i would like to inspire the next generation of creative individuals with my work.

I strongly believe in the power of travel to make us better human beings.through exposure to other cultures, ways of lifeand modes of thinking, we become more tolerant and gain a new understanding about ourselves and our relationship with the world.

My aspiration is to produce work that inspires others to travel and to get to know people from backgrounds different than their own

Interest in photography has exploded sice 2013, largely thanks to the developments in digital photography. Cameras and computers have become cheaper and more powerful, software more sophisticated and printers can now print photos that are as good (if not better) than anything produced in a chemical darkroom. Now, once you’ve acquired a digital setup, the economic restrictions of film and development costs have been removed and the cost of photography is virtually nil.

Travel photography is difficult to define. It's a mix of different styles. A good professional travel photographer should be able to handle portrait, landscape and street photography. India is the perfect destination for all those styles of photography

Travel photography covers almost everything so one needs to be versatile. It’s a bit like journalism – a journalist smells and chases a story there, and I do the same with light. Having said that, since I also write on travel extensively, I talk extensively with people I meet and also that helps to make the pictures more natural and less posed.

Great pictures are most often specific. A photographer looks at the scene and chooses the elements/subjects to crop out of the scene. Don’t be afraid to crop in your viewfinder, defining your real subject and capturing that only. It’s very tempting to include too many elements (trees, mountains, rivers, lakes) in a picture because they are overwhelmed by the beauty of a scene. Being selective often makes for a more dramatic image. Think about making a picture rather than taking a picture.

Look for different angles in your shooting. There’s no rule that state that all photographs must be shot from eye level, so shoot some from low angles, even ground level if you’re willing to get down on your hands and knees.
